It has a skin and is on an armband while I work out, but it still gets a little sweat on it.

It shouldn%26#039;t, though it will make it smell bad. Unless you sweat like a fountain and a decent amount of liquid gets into the internal workings through the click wheel or the port at the bottom you should be fine.
