I have been on Effexor 75mmg for over a year and I experience night sweats sometimes 2 times a week. I do dream. I wake up cold , shaking and freezing. The bed is completley soaked. It%26#039;s pretty gross. Is this a possible side effect from the drug?
Night Sweats and Anti-depressants?
Absolutely. SSRIs (such as Effexor) commonly have the sweating side effect. Other problems can cause night sweats too ranging from drug abuse to lymphoma to tuberculosis. So I suggest you see your doctor about it just to make sure it%26#039;s not something serious. Those things can be ruled out by very simple tests.
