Night Sweats?

For the last week or so I have been having night sweats which have woken me up almost consistently around 5am. I%26#039;ve been having toruble with anxiety and also depression lately surrounding health issues. Could this be the reason behind it?

This could be the reason but more often night sweats are a symptom of an infection. I would advise that you consult your doctor who should be able to properly diagnose whether you have an infection and prescribe antibiotics if they are required.





You don%26#039;t say what your underlying health issues are but if you have had any sort of treatment which might allow in an infection then you should be particularly alert to that possibility. The sort of thing I mean is anything from recent surgery, a deep wound or cut, dental treatment (especially an extraction or abcess). Also if you have had a lung complaint this might lead to a lung infection.

Yes, it could. But it could be lots of other things. No-one on here could possibly diagnose your problem. You need to be seen by a doctor.
Reply:Sounds like infection (TB?) or panic disorder maybe. Depression can disrupt sleep patterns. See a doctor.

Although it is known for people to have sweating w/ anxiety and depression. It is also known that some viral and bacterial infections may cause the person to swet.


Somtimes respiratory infections can cause this.


See your M.D. about this.

Reply:Definately, sweetie. I know it may sound corny but have a warm drink before you go to sleep, watch a little T.V. %26amp; let your body relax. Try not to go to bed with a problem on your mind, your mind needs to rest too. Lavender oil on your pillow may put you into a deeper sleep, so your tired body can rest better. xxx
