Nite Sweats??
This is most likely a health issue ...assuming you are female ...having no idea how old you are ...it%26#039;s probably hormone related (low estrogen) or you could be pre-menopause. There are also some medications that can cause night sweats too. Changing sheets most likely will not help, but a fan or air conditioner may relieve it some.

Some other causes of night sweats:

Any illness where you suffer from a fever.

Diabetes Insipidus

Hyperthyroidism

Secretion from certain cells in the brain

Anemia

Hypothalamic lesions

Epilepsy

Strokes

Cerebral palsy

Migraine

Spinal cord infarction

Head injury

Familial dysautomia

Anti-nausea medication used in pregnancy

Obstructive sleep apnea

The question indicates you need to rule out

1. Tuberculosis (TB) with a PPD test

2. HIV (AIDS) with a blood test.

Night sweats are significant symptoms of Tuberculosis, HIV (AIDS) and lymphoma.

The Tuberculosis and AIDS tests are free at your county or city health department.

If both of those are negative you are going to have to go to a Doctor to find out the cause.

There are a number of diseases and drugs that have a major complaint of night sweats.

...........

1- The test for Tuberculosis (TB) is called a PPD skin test. Your county or city health clinic will do this test for free. Any medical facility will do this test.

A small syringe needle is put in just under the surface of the skin and a small amount of test material is injected subcutaneously.

If the person has TB there will be a reaction with redness and swelling in 2-3 days.

The test is read by the health facility that gave in after 2 to 3 days.

2- The Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) clinic of your city or county health department does the blood test for AIDS.

The site below explains the illnesses, drugs, and other causes of night sweats.

Finding the cause and correcting it for night sweats is a process of ruling out the possibilities starting with the most serious first.

Night sweats are a symptom that needs to be diagnosed and that is a step by step process beginning with the above.
