It Hurts Bad enough that I'm Ready to Ask?

Ok so this only happens around this time of year and for some reason it only happens after a long hot day at work.

My rear end hurts real bad! It's not muscle pain for sure, it's like a skin irritation. I think it's chapped but I'm not sure, to fix it in the past I just put on some skin so soft, and the next morning I'd feel fine. Well this time I woke up and it hurt worse then ever.

It's in the crack but not on/in the anus.

I have a wierd suspicion that it has to do with sweating a lot and then not reaching back there and "mopping it up". Because it always happens on hot days when I've been sweating a lot (especialy **** sweat).

So I need help because I don't want to go walking around work today looking like a [gay guy] raped me in the [rear].

It sounds like prickly heat. try calamine lotion. You could also try baby powder. seriously.

My husband has that in the summertime too. He's a truck driver and the leather seats don't help his condition. He uses vitamin e liquid caplets. He uses the liquid and puts it directly on the rash before bed and it will heal over night. It works amazing on diaper rash on babies too.
Reply:Congrats on your bravery to ask! I'd suggest getting (for real, don't balk me or laugh) diaper rash cream and smear in on the affected area. It will protect it from further sweaty irritation and help it heal at the same time. You are not the first person I've heard of with this...
Reply:Baby powder can help stop it from happening, use a bit of baby powder on areas that are affected in the morning before work and it will help absorb moisture. As for healing it now no real advise on that one.
Reply:Well you need to go to a doctor and tell him because you could have something serious. It could get worse!!!!
Reply:You got what we call in the south "gald". My hubby has it and swears by Gold Bond lotion and powder. Use the lotion at night before sleep and in the morning powder on Gold Bond with a puff and dont be stingy with it. I have used it myself and it works.
Reply:Chub rub. Swamp ***. Skin issues in the Summer. Happens to a lot of us. Use some sort of powder each day down there. I use Ammens medicated powder it makes all of the difference in the world. (Gold Bond is good as well and Baby Powder)Out of the shower make sure you are very clean and dry back there. Blow dry the area if you have to. Clean and dry is the key. If this does not go away go see a derm for advice and help.
