College students that wear sweats to class....?

Does anyone else think it looks entirely sloppy when college students wear sweats to class? I understand it is more comfortable, but when did comfort take a back seat to looking presentable in public? I don't care how 'cute' or expensive your sweats are. You look like you're lounging around the house with the flu. Does anyone else feel this way?

I you have one 50 minute class, or just one final exam on a day, then it's okay since you're at school for barely any time and it'd be useless to get all dolled up.





Sometimes you just have those days though... sigh.

im not in collage but i hate sweatpants





and pretty much, i only wear jeans except for brazilion pants, but they kinda look like jeans anyway

Reply:Who cares? It's class. Of course they look sloppy, but it's really about their last chance. They can't dress that way any where else but the gym or home for the rest of their lives. Leave them alone.
Reply:I mean, since it's college i can see why people do that, but i mean i think it's important to change the clothes that you slept in ! %26amp; to shower is important but sometimes people just feel like being lazy but it's not good when it's all the time .. i mean i understand if it's early like 6 or 7 but afternoon %26amp; noon time people should dress casual

I thought that I was the only one that thought that people in sweats look really sloppy and scrubby...





I feel like .. yeah sometimes you have that 8AM class (which I try to avoid at all times when scheduling but sometimes you have to!), and I understand that it's super early but can't we at least shower!!!!!





Some college people I've seen don't even look like they washed their faces or ... ahem... brushed their teeth =D





Now, I'm not one of those vain people but I like to look presentable, no matter the situation!!

So I agree with you... let's shower, look in the mirror when you dress, and don't freaking sleep in class!!!
Reply:When your in college and under loads of stress wouldn't you just want to feel comfortable? Sure you don't have to dress that way all the time but once in a while its ok.
Reply:Wearing sweats to class looks bad IMO. To me, they're considered "sick clothes" only.





I've never like sweats, they're too bulky. But hey, whatever floats your boat. In the working world you can't wear them, so I guess enjoy it while it lasts.
Reply:I think it's a way to look cute and be comfortable at the same time. And I think it depends on what kind of sweats your talking about - those big baggy ones are NOT CUTE! But if they are the cute tight fitting ones then those are okay. Now the whole not showering thing is gross. I go to school and I wear sweats sometimes but I get ready as I normally do - I take a shower and do my make up and hair but feel like wearing sweats to be comfortable. If class is really early sometimes you just feel like wearing some sweats and flip flops cause you don't want to wear tight fitting jeans. I guess it depends on how theyre wearing the sweats. Waking up out of bed and going to class - dirty! Big baggy sweats and a huge tee shirt NOT CUTE!! form fitting sweats and a fitted shirt/tank CUTE! besides...i hate girls who get all glammed up for school...it's school....not the club!
Reply:Um, I think oit is trashy and people did that in my middle school %26amp; they do it at my high school, and not to mention they have those sloppy *** buns thrown up at the top of their hair, oh my god it lookes so trashy, like someone got dressed in the dark/ isn't looking well.
