Does waterproof foundation keep sweat off?

sometimes i get so hot my face sweats and the foundation starts to run a little an i have to completely wash it off please help what do i do to keep the sweat off my eyes and face?

It won't keep you from sweating. If I had a problem with my face sweating, I would not wear foundation, probably. OR, what about a powder foundation? I've never tried one, though.....

Reply:Unfortunately, no. I've *never* found a foundation to help w/ that problem... no brand, no formula, etc.





If you are lucky enough to have tiny pores that are about invisible you won't have too bad of a problem. But most people aren't that lucky. ;-(
Reply:well you might want to try a powder cover up rather than a liquid....and maybe you can stop doing what ever heavy activities you are doing to make you sweat when you have make-up on
Reply:No it does not. There is not a product out there to keep sweat off your face. Sweat is a bodily function to keep you cool.
Reply:There is no such thing as waterproof foundation. Foundations can be water resistant but they cannot be called waterproof. That said, use powder foundation and try a primer underneath so it keeps the sweat and oil at bay. My recommendation is the powder compact from Chanel that does wonders for oily skin-
Reply:No, no foundation keep sweat off. But if you use waterproof it may stay on a little longer. Don't wipe you face when you are sweat just pat your face.
Reply:Waterproof foundation doesn't necessarily keep the sweat off. It's really meant for binding under the water, so it's ideal for swimming or if you are out in the elements (like rain). There are some foundations which are more "budge proof", but if you are really perspiring I would recommend that you use a lightweight tinted moisturizer instead. Laura Mercier, Tarte and Paula Dorf all make very good ones in a good range of colors, and many also contain SPF as well.
Reply:It won't prevent sweat, because that comes from inside your body and out on your skin. So you'll still sweat, but it shouldn't run. Most waterproof cosmetics require some sort of oil cleanser to remove them and sweat isn't oily.
